I will be talking about the happenings on my birthday and will as well, introduce My World- "Treasure Food Cosmos"
My cooking skill is innate and comes naturally with me. I admire ladies and men with good cooking skills.
To be able to use the food stuffs at home to create a yummy mouth -watering and appetite craving food and having a good knowledge of the nutrient content and combining them well for a balance meal, that's what i admire in people.
Like i told you, i went to enhance my skills on catering and sugar craft. To tell you,the truth, it isn't easy to bake a good cake. Come to think of fondant and its stress especially in a cold weather;oh! that is tasking and calls for extra care .
On 12th Oct., i figured, i had to give myself a birthday gift;a birthday cake. Prior before that day, i have tried making a fondant but failed those times i tried,even when a friend came to help out. But ,early in the morning of my birthday , i got up and started doing something. Finally, i made a good fondant , which i can cover my cake with! Here comes the cake..
I also went ahead to make the special one, a spicy cake with chocolate ganache and nut.2012 birthday is the sweetest so far. The precious one,so far and will get better . Received calls and sms from loved ones. My mum called me that morning and prayed for me,spoke with my dad as well. My friend, Chi Ohams gave me a new watch,
Kaycee, sent some money. Thanks all, you made it beautiful.
At the training,later that day. i cut my cake.
I was so help, cos i saw my ability to make a good fondant as God's birthday gift to me outside my being alive .
Show some love to yourself and people,it will go a long way to make a memorial.
